You Drive Freight. We Drive Business.

Hey, Hot Shot

The term "hot shot trucking" is applied to truckers who drive rigs smaller than the standard semi-truck and trailer. It also refers to moving less than a truckload or LTL. We specifically work with Carriers with 40ft trailers with load capacity of at least 16,000 lbs.

Full Service Dispatch & Back Office Services Driving Your Hotshot Success. More than a typical "load finder", we use strategies to ensure your bottom line is fat. We deal with the brokers and invoices. You know, those fun bits.

Our services pay for themselves - don't lose time, load board fees, low rate negotiations. We take care of it all for you!

Are you using the shotgun approach to finding loads?
— You bet your bottom dollar we use strategy!

You keep driving. Our services pay for themselves! Load boards leave 20% or more on the table....um, hello, we negotiate directly with shippers on your behalf!

And we know what we're talking about, because our office used to be behind the wheel, too. We've driven OTR in semis and 3500s. So, we know

Results driven fees

And we negotiate the best rates, in the best areas to offset the dispatching service fees.

Team Players

Our dispatchers run on teams; you'll be assigned to a dedicated lead. Why teams? So that if a dispatcher is down or out, we've still got your back! Your revenue is not tied to a single man, instead you've got a whole team backing you.

How can we help you succeed?

Broker Setup & Credit Checks

We maintain a database of decent brokers; the ones that have great credit & reasonable broker fees. We develop a relationship with brokers that work in your freight lane. Why? So we can contract those loads before they even hit the load boards.

Are you scrapping with the other dogs for the bones?1
— Don't settle, go for the meat

Freight Lanes

Are you developing the most profitable freight lanes? We do.

Developing a dedicated freight lane is much more profitable. Bet your current dispatcher is not a running lanes. Shame, really. You're missing a big piece of that pie.

Find. Negotiate. Contract.
— Ohhh the things we can do for you

Load Boards

We post your truck & find the loads.

We post your truck on the appropriate boards. Letting brokers know you're available. We search and screen the load boards, based on the preferences we discussed previously.

We'll call on the applicable loads to gather details. We'll also store good looking brokers in our database - they've got great credit, they're working in your lane, they're offering the right range of rates.

We'll use this database later. It's kinda like swiping right on Tinder.

Load boards are a resource for "spot freight". They're not the only resource for getting you loads. We also contact brokers, getting loads before they're posted. We help to develop your freight lane by working directly with shippers.

You gotta know the lane rates
— and we do!

tick tock tick tock. This process can often take a couple of hours and over 25 phone calls. That's why we're here and you're not.

Bam. We scored a load with all the right components. Rate. Origin/Destination. Cargo details. Timing....yeah, timing is everything.

Negotiation

And guess what? They like your equipment, too.

Negotiations. We're wheeling & dealing for you.. It does take personable speaking skills. Shall we say, a little, jennie-say-kwaaa. Many of our drivers have heavy accents, that did not serve them well when they tried to sell themselves. Other drivers have a road-rage type of personality. We love each and every one of you. Don't sweat it, we do the talking for you. Don't miss out on loads or increased rates. Actually, how many drivers do you know that have relationships directly with brokers and calling them for frequent loads? Yeah, didn't think so.

Do you wanna do sales or do you wanna drive?
— That's what I thought

We get your approval to move forwad. It's all up to you, Boss.

Of course we checked the shippers credit! Gotta use protection in this day and age. We'll store their credit and authority info in that database of ours. Hey broker, I'd hate to have to file a claim, but I will if I have to.

We accept the 15+ fax pages from shipper. We review the contract - hey, sometimes they try to throw in some funny stuff.

Filling our all those pages on your phone?
— ZOOM in for the details!

All those Docs!

Good thing you're not trying to do this at the truckstop. Faxes are like $2 per page!

Looks good. So now we get to send in a bunch of faxes. Proof of everything from your MC to your 8th grade report card. And we need to let your insurance company know about this guy, too.

We do all the faxing/emailing and paperwork!

Setting up with a new shipper takes some time. Time you need to grab that shower, yeah it's time to shave, and something to eat. Is there a line at Popeyes Chicken?

Communication

We communicate with the broker, shipper & receiver.

We’re the chaperone on this date

We're also the chaperone on this date. We'll check in on you, so we can let the broker know that you're still bringing his load home on time. We do this to make brokers happy, but we have alterior motives (insert: diabolical laugh). This little trick gives us a chance to make sure the broker calls his pickup and/or reciever.

We don’t wanna wait an extra hour while they put on their make up.
— Nope. We want loads ready to go.

We contact the shipper & receiver - to verify the information. We trust, but verify the broker. We also make sure we have their hours, any direction specifics, and so on. How many times did you arrive at the delivery address on the BOL, only to learn this is not the receiving address? Or the broker says you can arrive at 6, only to find trucks had to be in the gate by 4?

You know that pesky BOL stuff? The ones that aren't always filled out correctly....or at all? Well, we're gonna deal with that. Because that BOL is your CYA. You are accepting responsibility of the freight. It's your a$$ if there's a discrepancy or claim.

Ok, Boss. Need anything along the way? Shoulder to cry on? We've got great therapy rates.

We also can Google like no body's business. So if you need something while your driving, just use that hands-free headset of yours and give us a call. We'll even give you the back office number.

What's next?

Preplanning the next load, of course!

We'll be here working. It's called pre-planning loads. We're way ahead of you, boss. Miles ahead. Not only are we on the load boards, we're also calling brokers in that database of ours. Most important, we're calling shippers in your freight lanes. Scoring loads before they're brokered or posted.

Like a BOSS

All this while you're swearing at the guy that just cut in front of you.

We also peak in on national radar. We'll try to let you know if those pretty radar colors are coming your way. We're not Al Roker, but we try.

We'll tell you about a super little, free, app, to snap a photo of your BOL. You can shoot it over to us. We can help you with invoicing or send it off to your big boss, if you have one. The big boss might be the owner of your truck or your wife.

Strap your freight.
Not your business.

Invoicing

Time to get paid!

We also provide back office services. Get your mind out of the gutter! We submit your docs to your factoring company. We can set-up 'quick pay', too. We maintain records of all your loads, so you have references.

Self dispatching costs you
